WP7 gaining NFC capabilities in its next update?

Needless to say that it looks like near-field communication is growing more and more popular every day. You probably have heard that recent rumor claiming that Google is teaming up with MasterCard and Citigroup for a big NFC push a bit later in 2011, so now Bloomberg is reporting that MS is going to get in on tech in the nearest future, as well. In accordance with two sources speaking with the site, Windows Phone 7 is going to get NFC capabilities in the next version of their operating system, taking into acoount the fact that smartphones featuring NFC built-in may arrive sometime in 2011. If to consider all its rivals either in the process of implementing NFC into the company�s devices or perhaps doing so in the nearest future, I don�t think it will surprise a lot of you if Microsoft makes a decision to include the tech in their own products.
