HTC has been doing a pretty good job while promoting the HTC Flyer. After some successful events HTC prepared a video about the gadget. The video not only mentions the initial features of the gadget, but also talks about its HTC Scribe pen accessory.
The video itself is quite impressive. It starts up with a demo of the home screen of the HTC Flyer. Soon after comes quite an interesting statement that you can do most of what your PC can do. This is a good move towards a better marketing strategy.
The video demonstrated almost everything the HTC Flyer can dofrom signing up a contract to highlighting documents, drawing and note-taking (with advanced audio, video and typing support). The handwriting capabilities have been enhanced with a chance to have a voice reproduction, and its a cool feature.
The Evernote feature allows to get all of your notes backed up to the cloud, not occupying the memory of your device. Another interesting application of the gadget is the Watch that offers full-length on-demand movie shooting.
The device has a 7 inch display with 1024 600 1.5 GHz processor, 1GB of RAM, 5 megapixel camera, 32 GB of internal memory, Wi-Fi b/g/n, 3G and WiMax. The operating system of the device is not Android 3.0 as it was expected. Instead its Android 2.4 Gingerbread.
As for the HTC Scribe stylus, we should mention that it adds a 21st century touch to the smartphone.
