What does Mobilehunt and Metadataremover do ?
Answer:MobileHunt allows Installous to search for apps on your iDevice that the Apptrackr database does not have. If you�re not familiar, Apptrackr is an online app database that allows you to search for cracked apps. If Installous detects an app that you bought from Apple�s App Store and Apptrackr currently does not have it, Installous will prompt you with:
You have an application that Apptrackr doesn�t. We will add the application to a queue in the background (if you say yes) and it will start uploading a small part of the app, kind of like uploading a torrent.
The idea is that MobileHunt acts as �reverse BitTorrent�. With BitTorrent, when you download a .torrent file your computer is told where to download tiny bits of data from. Ultimately all these tiny pieces of data you�ve collected from other people�s computers combine into one file (a movie, a song, or piece of software, etc.). MobileHunt does the opposite and collects tiny bits of data from everyone who has a certain app. Those data pieces are then formed together to create the same app for everyone with jailbroken iDevices to download.
