How to Disable Multitasking on iPad

Is there any way to disable multitasking on my iPad running iOS 4.2? Or just turn it off so apps go back to working like they used to? I find multitasking useless and annoying. Some apps are frozen but many others still run and battery level goes down.No. There is no way to disable multitasking. If you don't like this feature, just use the iPad as you did with 3.2.2.
