Can I use iPad in cold weather?

I had bought an iPad and want to use it outside. Would the cold weather/temperatures damage it in anyway?Well, it won't damage the iPad unless it gets wet somehow. If it is out in the cold weather, it will lose charge faster and the touch screen doesn't respond as well. It gets harmed if the temperatures is very cold like artic cold then i would start worrying.
