The app store was launched back on July 10, 2008 with 500 apps only and now it's hitting 10 billion downloads. It's unclear if those 10 billion downloads include duplicates and updates but anyway, this number is quite huge and impressive.
Apple hasn't announced the lucky winner that will receive a $10,000 iTunes voucher that downloaded the tenth Billion app yet.
