Local notifications with iOS 4.2 for iPad

Years ago many users was complaining about Apple�s lack of support for 3rd party multitasking,a simple solution was the push notifications that solved many of the issues associated with background processing.In addition to the existing Apple Push Notification Service (APNS), iOS 4.2 adds local notifications on iPad. This new feature can be scheduled on the iPad Device to fire at any given time.
