iPad tends to spontaneously reboot

I try to power off my iPad but the device tends to frequently reboot. It just display home screen and doesn't allow any user operation.I think it is software and not hardware related.If you completely restore and the problem disappears, then it was software related. Without completely restoring, you can delete apps one by one and see if the problem ceases.
